Tour Details
Day 1: Arrival at Srinagar to Sonmarg
We welcome you at the Srinagar Airport. Our tour manager will pick you up from the airport, from where we proceed to our hotel (Sonmarg) via shuttle cabs, followed by an allotment of the rooms. In the evening, you’ll be briefed about the tour followed by dinner. Get a good night’s sleep and charge yourself up for an adventure of a lifetime! Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel. Note: You are advised to arrive in Srinagar by 12:00 hrs that will enable you to move with the group to Sonmarg together, else the additional cost of the stay in Srinagar same day and next day transfer to be borne by the guest for any delays and you will not be able to move to Sonmarg same day.
On day 2, post breakfast get ready for your road transfer to Kargil. On the way, there are halts at Sonamarg – a pristine valley with lush views and snow-clad peak; Zo jila Pass (a high altitude pass); Drass Village- the world’s 2nd coldest inhabitant place. Here, you visit War memorial hall and Museum- also known as Vijaypath. The memorial was constructed by the Indian Army in the memory of the soldiers and officers of the Indian Army who laid their lives in Kargil War. Evening arrival in Kargil. Check-in formalities. Overnight stay in Kargil.
Post breakfast, we will start our ride to Leh. We will visit Lamayuru, one of the oldest Monastery of Ladakh, on the way and enjoy the view of the Moon Landscape. Other pitstops would include a visit to the Magnetic Hill, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, and Hall of Fame museum. Reach Leh by Evening. Dinner & overnight stay at Leh.
After breakfast, Ride to Nubra Valley via Khardungla (Highest Motorable road in the World, 18,380 ft). Post-lunch, enjoy the camel safari at Sand Dunes between Diskit & Hundur Village. O/N Nubra Valley. Hotel Meal plan (B/D).
Day 5: Nubra Valley to Pangong via Shyok route
After breakfast visit Diskit Monastery (Big Buddha), where you can have a magnificent view of Nubra Valley and later drive to Pangong via Shyok river with amazing landscape and adventure. Stop for lunch at Durbuk and 1hr continue drive to Pangong Lake. Enjoy the overnight at Pangong lake stargazing. Hotel Meal plan (B/D)
Day 6: Pangong to Leh via Changla
In the early morning, enjoy the picturesque view of Sunrise on the lake. After Breakfast, drive back to Leh, en-route visit Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace. Our driver will drop you at Leh market where you can explore yourself. Later, a car will leave you at the service station. Hotel Meal plan (B/D)
Today after having breakfast, you will be escorted to Leh Airport for your onward journey with a bag full of memories.
